Philip Childers, Founder, Managing Partner, CAC, Senior Industrial Hygienist
Philip Childers has been working in environmental consulting since 2003. He is a California Asbestos Consultant (CAC), Nevada licensed asbestos consultant, a California Certified Lead Based Paint Inspector/Risk Assessor and Lead Based Paint Risk Assessor (EPA Administered States). He has successfully completed large asbestos abatement projects in New York, Oklahoma, Texas, California and Nevada. Some highlights include conducting a 4,000+ sample asbestos survey, abatement oversight and final clearance of the 557-megawatt, coal fired, Reid Gardner Power Generating Plant in Moapa Nevada and providing a turn-key asbestos abatement project of an industrial flight kitchen for the New York Port Authority at JFK International Airport. Philip has completed multiple Hazardous Building Materials Surveys (HBMS), Lead Based Paint (LBP) evaluations, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Mold investigations and Industrial Exposure assessments for both private and government sector clients. Working with the AllPro team, Philip has completed close to 2,000 various asbestos, lead, mold and fire assessment projects for residential homeowners, commercial building owners and property managers. Philip is an avid snowboarder and mountain sport enthusiast. Living in Minden, NV, he will tell you how lucky he is to have the Lake Tahoe area as his backyard. Philip also engages in various non-profit organizations and fundraising causes including ActivStem Foundation which provides treatment grants and raises funds for research for mountain athletes with spinal cord injuries.
Todd Smith, Managing Partner, CSST, Industrial Hygienist
Todd has been working in the construction industry since 1999. Todd was a General Contractor, Liscensed Plumber, transitioned to Abatement and Environmental Consulting, specializing in Asbestos, Mold, Lead, Fire Damage Inspection and Testing. Todd is a California Site Surveillance Technician (CSST-Asbestos),
California Certified Lead Based Paint Sampling Technician (EPA Administered States), Lead Supervisor. He has successfully completed many large and small Asbestos, Lead, Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), Fire/Smoke and Mold Inspections and Abatement projects throughout California and Nevada. Todd has a passion for helping and educating others. Due to his construction/plumbing and abatement experience he offers a depth of knowledge of construction defects and/or water damages that enables him to know where water and mold hide. Todd has worked with numerous home and business owners regarding such challenges, finding mold that others could not. Todd lives in Reno, NV and enjoys camping and boating with family and friends on all the beautiful lakes the area offers, including his favorite, Lake Tahoe.
